1871 $1 Seated Liberty Dollar PCGS PR 61 Proof Stunning Coin Toned
An absolutely gorgeous 1871 proof seated liberty dollar graded PR 61 by PCGS. It holds a fantastic proof quality strike with some beautiful toning among both sides. We would say the close-up photos give the most accurate represenation of how this coin looks in hand. We believe it could have easily graded higher but that PCGS was conservative on it. It has been housed in a PCGS Secure Label Holder. This proof issue coin holds a total mintage of only 960. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 650 have survived in all grades today.
It is one of only 32 graded Proof 61 by PCGS. Please check this listing page carefully as the answer is usually there.
